
BLACKPINK Adjusted Their Performance To Pay Respects To The Victims of Tragedy in Manchester
BLACKPINK UPDATE – May 22, 2019.
BLACKPINK adjusted their performance at BLACKPINK 2019 World Tour in Manchester to pay respects to the victims of tragedy in Manchester. BLACKPINK made sure to do whatever they could to create an environment in which everyone could enjoy themselves free of any unnecessary triggers.
They remove DDU-DU DDU-Du from the set and change their performance in certain part not only the choreography but also the lyric. They also displaying a special message as follow:
” Blinks, thank you for being with us tonight.
It is a privilege to be performing here in Manchester, especially at this time.
We send our love and prayers to the friends and families who fought through the hard times.
We are here for you.

Here are some adjustments that BLACKPINK did during their concert in Manchester:
1). They remove DDU-DU DDU-DU from their set performance
2). They change the Whistle lyric from “Blow up” to “Glow up”
3). They change gun choreography from Kill This Love
4). They dedicated ‘STAY’ – a song which is important to BLACKPINK and BLINKS – to the friends and families who were affected by terrible attack in Manchester
These changes may seem small, but BLACKPINK has demonstrated how they are being a socially aware & responsible group that puts their fans first. Their actions give tangible proof to the love and care they feel for their fans.
Our hearts will forever be with the victims of the tragedy in Manchester. #OneLoveManchester
