9 News Australia, the national news service of the Nine Network in Australia, broadcast incorrect report about drug incident at BLACKPINK Concert in Sydney on June 15, 2019.

According to the news broadcast by 9 News Australia, the drug incident happened at Music Festival (KPOP Music Festival which is BLACKPINK concert in Sydney) at Olympic Park and 5 people were arrested for drug supply.

According to www.theaustralian.com.au news, drug incident happened at a dance festival in Sydney’s west not at BLACKPINK Concert venue that was held at Qudos Bank Arena.

MTV Australia also wrote that, “Over the weekend the K-pop girl group performed for their massive hoard of loyal followers at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney as a part of their In Your Area world tour.

On Saturday evening just metres away at Sydney Olympic Park, dance festival I Am Hardstyle also took place and let’s just say it was a wildly different fanbase. In fact police reported that 5 people were arrested on drug supply charges.”
