A cover from three years ago was also with Saint Laurent. How does it feel to have a good relationship with this iconic brand?

I still can’t believe that I’m a global ambassador, representing a brand that I’ve thought was really cool for a long time. It’s an honor. I also got close to creative director Antony Vaccarello, and I’m learning a lot from his creativity, expertise, and humanity. It’s amazing to be able to work with such a wonderful person.

When you first debuted, I thought Rosé’s lovely charm was close to pink, between black and pink. But Rosé in Saint Laurent looked good in black.

I’m a performer. As soon as I get on the stage, I think it’s my job to show different energy than usual. That’s why I like Saint Laurent, which brings out my strong and black look. Like today’s shoot, when I get closer to ‘black’, it’s fun and interesting. As a singer and performer, I’d like to cross the border of colors.

Rosé absorbs all colors into her own. The moment when only chroma, brightness and Rosé existed.
BLACKPINK Rosé decorated the cover of the July issue of Elle. Unlike Rosé’s usual bright and lovely charm, the pictorial features a chic and mature look. Rosé also showed a playful appearance during the shoot, but she didn’t lose her concentration.

In an interview conducted after the photo shoot, Rosé told us what have she been up to. Regarding the live band performance on her Instagram live, she said, “I wanted to show my fans how I enjoy music as naturally as possible. I try to cover my favorite songs and show them to my fans often.” She showed her affection for the song and her fans to the fullest.

“These days, I feel that each stage is even more special.” Also regarding her comeback scheduled for late June, she said, “I’m looking forward to it.
