Stephen Colbert Show Featuring John Oliver & BLACKPINK Dominated Household Ratings
BLACKPINK UPDATE – February 13, 2019.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert featuring interview with John Oliver and music performance by BLACKPINK dominated the household ratings race.
The article below is from Headline Planet:
Featuring an interview with John Oliver and BLACKPINK’s debut US television performance, CBS’ “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” fared well in the ratings Monday.
Per a daily ratings blast from competitor NBC, Monday’s “Late Show” drew a 3.0 overnight household rating. With that figure, the CBS program ranked as the night’s top-drawing late-night program.
NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” delivered a 1.9, while ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” posted a 1.8.
The current ratings data does not include the Seattle market, but that omission doubtfully has a major impact on the numbers.
Not simply enough for a nightly victory, Monday’s household performance tops seven of the past eight broadcasts (including last Monday’s airing). The only episode that did better over that range was the live, post-State of the Union special on February 5.
— “The Late Show” meanwhile tied the other two programs for first place in adults 18-49 (all three drew a 0.5).
