BLACKPINK hits song “DDU-DU DDU-DU” received Gold Certification by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 500,000 units in the US. RIAA gave the certification on August 15, 2019.

500,000 “units” are required for gold certification. One permanent digital download counts as one unit, and 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams count as one unit. More requirements to receive Gold certification by RIAA as follows:
